Overlooking Los Angeles is the historic Griffith Observatory, which attracts millions of
visitors each year. Built in 1935 and reopened in 2006 following extensive renovations, Krieger
provided STC 50-rated acoustical doors, including one leading to the dome above the
theater that preserved the iron-cladding from the original door.
