Installing Compression Seals
Step 1
KSP NC3 Compression Sound Seals come uncut in the package. Cut the neoprene seals for the jambs 1/4" above the opening height. Cut the neoprene seals for the head about 1/8" more than the width of the frame. Miter the edges where the jamb seals meet with the head seal at a 45º angle and super glue them together. Make sure the felt and the neoprene match together at the miter.
Step 2
Attach the retainer to the frame with the #10 - 3/4" Hex Head Self Tapping Sheet Metal Screws and Square washers.
Step 3
Insert the mitered edges into the retainer first and push in the rest along the head and the jambs. Make sure the felt is positioned on the side touching the frame. The seals should be all the way in and as even as possible.
Step 4
To adjust KSP NC3 Compression Sound Seals, tighten the retainer screws and then use a screw driver and a hammer to lightly tap the back of the seal retainer until the rubber touches the face of the door.

The card should be able to slide in with slight resistance and should stay in place if let go.

|
If the card bends, it is because the seals are too close.

Step 5
To adjust the KSP Cam Lift Door Bottom, loosen the adjusting screws for slight movement. Then place a screw driver between the crack of the door bottom and the face of the door skin and lightly tap the door bottom down until the seal becomes flush all the way across the floor or threshold.
